Compatible with the Micron RO-301B Reverse Osmosis System, the MRS-RO50 Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane filter features an ultra-fine 0.0001-micron pore size, providing advanced filtration that removes up to 99% of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), chemicals including PFAS, fluoride, chlorine, heavy metals, viruses, bacteria, parasites, lead, pesticides, and herbicides. Before reaching the RO membrane, water passes through Micron Water pre-filters rated between 1 and 5 microns, designed to capture larger particles such as sediment, rust, and dirt. These pre-filters protect the membrane from clogging and improve overall system performance. The reverse osmosis process uses pressure to force water through a semi-permeable membrane that allows only pure water molecules to pass, while rejecting and flushing away larger contaminants in a separate waste stream. The result is exceptionally clean, safe drinking water for residential use. Suitable for use with mains water supply.
