Warranty Information
Micron Water Filters products are covered by the following warranty periods from the date of purchase:
- Whole Home Filtration Systems: 3 years
- Under Sink Inline Systems and MQ Range: 3 years
- Reverse Osmosis Systems and Electrical Products: 1 year
The product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable warranty period. Warranty coverage includes parts and labour unless otherwise stated. Cartridges are excluded from warranty coverage.
Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please email warranty@micronwaterfilters.com.au with:
- A description of the fault
- Proof of purchase
- Proof of installation by a licensed plumber
The warranty applies only where the product has been installed and used in accordance with the relevant user guide and installation instructions and where only genuine Micron Water Filters replacement cartridges, fittings, and components have been used.
Assessment & Costs
All warranty claims are subject to approval by Micron Water Filters to confirm the product has not been incorrectly installed, used, or maintained.
False or incorrect claims may result in chargeable inspection, labour, and associated costs at the discretion of Micron Water Filters.
Micron Water Filters may, at its absolute discretion, reimburse reasonable, documented, direct expenses incurred in making a valid warranty claim. Proof of expenses must be submitted for consideration.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is provided in lieu of all other express or implied warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Micron Water Filters and the manufacturer will not be liable for any consequential loss, indirect loss, or delays arising from faulty manufacturing or warranty claims.

Australian Consumer Law
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
